Who can set up an account

You must be at least 18 and the parent or legal guardian of the children you add. Children don't agree to these terms and can't create accounts themselves — as the grown-up, you're agreeing on your family's behalf. When you sign up you'll also complete a short permission step for each child, described in our Privacy Policy; your children can't start playing until that's done.

The app will keep changing

We're always improving Learn with Hayden, so features may be added, changed, or retired over time, and the app may occasionally be unavailable while we work on it. If we ever remove something your family relies on, we'll do our best to give you notice.

Your free trial, and what happens after

Learn with Hayden starts with a 5-day free trial. Here's exactly how it works, in plain terms:

• Your trial is free for 5 days, starting the day you sign up.
• We ask for your card when you sign up, but we don't charge it during the trial.
• If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your card is automatically charged $39 for a full year of access. We'll email you a reminder before that happens.
• After that, your subscription renews automatically each year at the then-current price, unless you cancel. We'll email you a reminder before each renewal, and if the price ever changes we'll tell you before it applies to you.
• You can cancel at any time — during the trial or after — right in the app, in the grown-ups area. It takes a couple of taps, and it's as easy as signing up was. If you cancel during the trial you won't be charged at all. You can also email us at hello@learnwithhayden.app if you'd rather.
• Because you get five days to try everything for free first, and we remind you before every renewal, yearly payments aren't refundable. You can cancel anytime to stop future charges.

We show you all of this before you enter your card details, and we ask you to agree to it separately. There are no ads and nothing else to buy inside the app — no surprise charges, ever.

Accounts are for your own family

An account is for one family's personal, non-commercial use. A parent or guardian sets it up and adds their own children. Please don't share your account outside your household or use it to run a business, a classroom service, or anything like that.

You're responsible for your account

As the grown-up, you're responsible for what happens on your family's account — keeping your sign-in email secure and supervising your kids' play as you see fit.

What your kids make is yours

The artwork your children create belongs to your family. We don't claim ownership of it. You give us permission to store that artwork, sync it across your family's devices, and display it — only so it works inside your family's app, and nothing more. We'll delete it whenever you ask (see our Privacy Policy).

The app itself is ours

The Learn with Hayden app — its games, the characters and artwork we created, and the name and logo — belongs to us. We're giving your family permission to use it for your own personal, non-commercial use, as long as you follow these terms and keep your trial or subscription active. Please don't copy, resell, take apart, or reverse-engineer the app.

Closing accounts

If you cancel your subscription, your access to the games ends when the period you've paid for runs out. We know your child's drawings matter, so you'll still be able to sign in for six months after that to download any artwork you'd like to keep. After six months, the artwork is deleted automatically.

We also want this to stay a safe, friendly place for kids. If an account is used to abuse the service, harm others, or break these terms, we may suspend or close it.

No warranty

Learn with Hayden is provided “as is.” We've built it with care, but we can't promise it will always work perfectly, never lose data, or be free of bugs. We're a small team, so if there's a drawing your child would be heartbroken to lose, please save a copy somewhere else too.

Limit on liability

In plain terms: to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses that come from using (or not being able to use) the app, including indirect or unexpected losses like lost data, lost time, or lost profits. If we're ever found liable despite this, our total responsibility to you won't be more than the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months.

Changes to these terms

As the app grows, these terms may change. When they do, we'll update the date at the top. If you keep using Learn with Hayden after a change, that means you're okay with the updated terms.

A little fine print that still matters

Our Privacy Policy is part of these terms. These terms are governed by Pennsylvania law, and any dispute would be handled in the courts of Philadelphia County. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
